Charcoal Face Mask

*Bentonite clay is a natural mineral that removes toxins from the skin; this gentle exfoliator not only removes dead cells and unclogs pores, it is also known to even skin tone 

*Activated charcoal powder draws dirt, bacteria, and chemicals to the surface of the skin to fight acne and aid in a clear complexion; it is often used to cleanse, purify, and detox the skin

*Tea tree essential oil is antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory; it reduces swelling, inflammation, and scars, and promotes smooth and clear skin

Scoop about 1 tablespoon into a glass, or plastic bowl, or the palm of your hand and slowly add water to form a paste. Apply the mask to your face and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Use a warm towel or rag to remove the mask; next use a mild soap or toner to ensure that all the residue has been completely removed. 

** For extra benefits you can replace water with coconut milk, yogurt, or your liquid of choice (e.g. aloe vera gel, rose water, organic green tea, etc.) to make the paste.
